Our First House

It has been a very, very, very long time since I last blogged. In the last eight months Johnny and I have bought and moved into our first house, got married, went on our honeymoon cruise and got a dog.

I'll start with the house. We were looking for a home in Euless since it's the closest city to Dallas (where Johnny works) without actually being in Dallas County. There are not a lot of options in Euless, but we finally found a house at the end of July and moved in in the middle of August. I looove our house. Here's us (incredibly exhausted)on the day we moved in:



The family that lived in the house before we bought it had four kids. The guest bath (kids bathroom) was out of control. We quickly remodeled that bathroom. We ripped out the linoleum and put in porcelin tile, put in a new vanity, mirror, and toilet and painted the bathroom tan.

We also painted the guest rooms, which were formerly the kids rooms. One room was two shades; pepto bismal pink and baby pink. The other room was dark blue with a train border. They are now a more muted tan and milk chocolate brown.
